We here at the DoodleJump Labs ran a few intense tests and came up with a new fun fact: one inch in DoodleJump is equal to 160 DoodlejumpPoints (DJP). For a passive fan, this is not very interesting at all… “Who cares about distance?” I hear you type on the message boards. “DoodleJump is all about points and only points! Get real, NERD! Who cares about feet!?!”
Well, to an inquisitive mind, this metric can be a lot of fun. For instance, the average American is 5 Feet, 4 and 1/2 inches. A few quick conversions, and you’ll find that the average American is 10,320 (DJP).
Now lets take a look at the global leader board. DoodleJump Rock Star Christos Patronis recently melted everyone’s face and played a a 3,855,613 DJP game. That is just over 2008 feet. To put that in perspective, chew on this: the largest twin buildings in the world are the aptly name Patrona’s Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I’m sure they meant to call it “Patronis towers” but something was lost in translation. They are 88 floors of modern man’s ingenuity, and stand at just over 1,482 feet. In his heroic game of DoodleJump, Christos successfully controlled his DoodleJumper far enough on his screen to climb one of the towers to the top of its spire, covered the 190 foot distance between the two towers, and managed to make his way 25 floors down the other side! Incredible!!
Hey American Football nuts, next time you are thinking about how great Peyton Manning is, think about this – Christos covered enough ground to account for 669 YARDS! That’s scoring one touch down, then turning around and running it back FIVE MORE TIMES and winding up on the visiting team’s 30 yard line. When he tapped out, Christos was close enough to kick a field goal, which would have put him at 39 points on the day.
DoodleJump Demi-God Daniel Noteboom is another fun example of how far humans can jump. His unfathomable 2,281,172 DJP game registers at an astounding 1190 feet. If his game were an amusement park ride, he would have almost tripled the height of the worlds tallest roller coaster ride – the Kingda Ka, which stands at 459 feet. But don’t you roller coaster builders in cyberspace get too excited… Noteboom’s Wild Ride would also take the cake as the world’s slowest ride, clocking in at over 4 hours!
Me, I’m 5 feet 11 inches, or 11360 DJP. My average score right now is 16,640 DJP, meaning when I play a game of DoodleJump, I’m likely going to hop that fellah about 8 and a half feet.
I’m waiting to get a better idea, but I might as well throw it out there – based on some calculations, the average DoodleJumper moves at a rate of around 3.5-4 feet per minute, which is one foot per minute slower than the top speed of a SLOTH!

Take care, and happy jumping!

Very cool
Hello
Having installed doodlejump I seem to be stuck on the snor scene game and can’t work out how to return to the game that I originally downloaded with the helicopter and jet pack etc. Can you please tell me in very basic step by step language how to return to this.
Yours, a very basic new entrant to anything technical whatsoever

I like the layout of your blog and I’m going to do the same thing for mine. Do you have any tips? Please PM ME on yahoo @ AmandaLovesYou702
No way is the average American 5 ft 4.5 inches! I am an average Australian girl at exactly that height. I’m sure there are American men that are a lot taller! I imagine the mean would probably come to 5 ft 7/8 (for both sexes)…
Sorry about that, didn’t mean to rant! I love doodle jump. Especially the space theme. And it’s nice to know how long it would take for a doodler to jump to the top of my head :p
Awesome! I love doodle jump and it’s cool to see how far you’re really jumping. And someone said up there they need help finding how to get the jetpacks and propeller hats. It’s easy, I promise. All you have to do is go to settings/options (I’m not sure which one it is) and turn off classic mode. Then your power ups will be back! Hope I helped! Anyways, I love doodle jump and this little blog. Keep it up!
The official site for the original addicting helicopter game is at http://www.officialhelicoptergame.com/ – someone scored 11408 on helicopter game and they have video proof on that site on the helicopter game high score page!
